Santiago Montoya
I am currently a PhD Candidate in Economics at Emory University. After obtaining my undergraduate and master’s degrees in Economics at Universidad EAFIT in Colombia, I came to Atlanta to continue my studies. My research work covers theoretical and applied econometrics, with a focus on Bayesian analysis. I have also been fortunate enough to have taught my own courses in economic principles and econometrics, furthering my passion for teaching.
I will be joining the Adam Smith Business School at the University of Glasgow as Lecturer in Econometrics starting September 2021.
In my spare time, I play the drums in an Indie Rock band, read fantasy books, listen to a lot of music and play tennis.
